Details:

This site provides excellent outdoor play for children with special needs and disabilities. The huge play structures have access for whellchair users and those with mobility problems. The site is unique the large wooden castle with giant slide, secret tunnels, soft jail area and climbing wall are all accessible by children and their carers. There is ample seating for carers to sit near by to children playing, and a really lovely sensory play room (which is restricted for the use of children whose needs warrant this level of play) The site is a supervised facility and staff are brilliant, knowledgable and responsive to the different needs of children with special needs. The Play Ground also has an indoor play area where children can watch TV, join in art and craft sessions, dress up and play musical instruments. There are fully equipped disabled toilets complete with a changing bench and a little shop that sells a variety of snacks.
